I would say that with a hard heart I climbed onto the Ferry to head back to Phuket, but the thing with Phi Phi Island is that there was only so much that I could do there before I became bored. There is a pretty good reason why I always seem to land up in Amsterdam, however as it turned out the only time I visited a coffeeshop this time was to see if they actually sold coffee. The answer was a short, and rather sharp, no and if I really wanted a coffee there was a Starbucks down the road. I said to a friend of mine, when we were sitting in the Spotted Mallard listing to a jazz band, that this was the day when all of the weird and wonderful people of Brunswick swarm out onto the streets.
